5 things worth doing early
"Students must complete 3-6 credit hours of university-specified general education of which one course must be chosen from the list of courses shown below" — African American history and studies courses.
Under the FAMU–FSU cooperative program: "No more than half of the credit hours taken by a student during a given term may be taken at FSU."
"A student will be permitted one unexcused absence per credit hour of the course he or she is attending." And "A student exceeding the number of unexcused absences may be assigned the grade of “F.”"
"A student must have attended Florida A&M University for at least one semester before applying for major change."
Gus is an AI college companion built around your actual classes. Record a lecture and it writes the notes, pulls out the key topics, builds a flashcard deck, and makes a practice quiz from what was actually said. The flashcards come back on a spaced-review schedule, so the thing you missed shows up again right before you would have forgotten it. It is free to try.
Just walk away? That is a WF
"A grade of “WF” for each course will be assigned to any student who leaves the University without filing the Withdrawal Form with the University Registrar."
FAMU Catalog — general regulationsSkip fall and spring? New rules apply
"A student who breaks continuous enrollment by not enrolling in two consecutive terms (fall and spring semester, except for programs where summer is required) is a returning student and is subject to the program/policy requirements in place upon the student’s return."
