Gus uses third-party AI services to power study features. By using these features, you understand and agree that:

  • Content you submit (notes, lectures, questions) is transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing
  • AI-generated outputs (flashcards, quizzes, summaries, study responses) may contain inaccuracies or errors
  • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before relying on it
  • AI features are study aids, not substitutes for attending class, doing your own work, or consulting instructors
  • Our AI providers do not use your content to train their models

5. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of all content you upload to Gus, including notes, recordings, and files. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it as needed to provide the Service.

AI-generated content: Flashcards, quizzes, summaries, and other content generated by AI features based on your inputs belong to you.

8. Study Groups

When you participate in a study group, the content you share (messages, files, tasks) is visible to other group members. You are responsible for what you share. Group owners and members with appropriate permissions may manage group content.
